Clinical examinations for advanced dental care in Milan, City Life
State-of-the-art digital equipment allow key diagnostic examinations to be performed directly on-site, providing patients with reduced exposure to X-rays and very high image resolution, which can highlight the onset of disease at a very early stage. I design software, They allow precise, fast and customised operations for natural aesthetic results and long-term satisfaction.
Our goal:
“healthy is beautiful”
3D-CBCT
Cone beam computed tomography ensures that 3D images of arches, soft tissue, bones and nerves can be obtained in a single, fast scan.
The radiation emission is very low, which is why the machine is also suitable for children.
With the images obtained, any abnormalities can be identified immediately and complex surgical, prosthetic and orthodontic interventions can be planned by computer.
3D scanners
The high-speed digital scanning of the dental arches is done with a small handpiece that spares the patient the use of bothersome impression pastes.
Thus, accurate images can be obtained, which can be immediately processed on the computer to reproduce the 3D model of the mouth.
This allows surgical, prosthetic and orthodontic planning for customised treatments and fast, minimally invasive surgery.
Phosphor endoral X-ray
Small X-rays that analyse groups of three teeth at a time, to detect the presence of caries or inflammation of the dental pulp.
They are used to assess the need for devitrification, providing the patient with three times less X-ray dosage than before.
Their scanning avoids the use of developing liquids and allows images to be analysed on the studio monitor in a matter of seconds.
Conscious sedation
Sedative technique, also suitable for children, promotes immediate relaxation.
It is applied by inhaling a mix of oxygen and nitrous oxide, which, very quickly, guarantees the abatement of anxiety and pain, as well as the inhibition of the vomiting reflex.
Once the dispensing is finished, the patient can return home completely independently.
Digital Smile Design
Sophisticated gingival and dental aesthetics software that allows virtual smile design.
The DSD processes images of the dental arches (obtained by scanner and 3D CT scan), and associates them with photos and videos of the mouth, face and smile. In this way it is possible to create natural-looking aesthetic veneers, but also to accurately predict the results of orthodontic or implant therapy, capable of restoring an aesthetically harmonious result to the patient.
CAD/CAM
Sophisticated system enabling computer-assisted design and fabrication of prosthetic devices.
The acronym brings together two stages of a production process necessary to achieve the final result. In the first phase, the models obtained from the digital impressions are scanned in 3D to design the prostheses necessary for the operation on the computer: crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers. Once the design phase is completed, the information passes to special computer-controlled machines capable of making the final device.
