In City Life Institute The professional oral hygiene session is performed by the dental hygienist, with the aim of maintaining a healthy mouth and teeth of adult and child patients. To do so we apply customised protocols, and activate a structured recall system on the specific needs of each individual.

The CZ oral hygiene protocol: 3 solutions for every need
The standard hygiene session always includes the use of manual and ultrasonic instrumentation for the elimination of plaque and tartar. The treatment also makes use of the powerful Airflow, high-pressure nozzle: ideal for anti-caries prophylaxis and treatment of pyorrhoea, it thoroughly removes surface stains and restores a whiter, brighter smile.
To this basic treatment, in City Life Institute, we have decided to flank more specific proposals, which differ from each other in three different levels, broken down by duration and type of treatment performed.

Fear of the dentist?
We have inhalation conscious sedation
If the dentist's session creates anxiety and agitation in the patient, we can resort to inhalation conscious sedation: quick, non-invasive and suitable for all ages, it guarantees total relaxation in a few minutes while remaining alert at all times.
Professional tooth whitening in Milan
At the end of the hygiene session, the patient may choose to perform a teeth whitening session professional. In City Life Institute we only rely on world-leading companies to whiten teeth safely and effectively. Again, there are three solutions on offer:
Fast Whitening
Duration 20′
The treatment, included in the LUXURY package, involves the application of carbamide peroxide gel, activated by an Arcus LED lamp. It gives immediate brightness to the teeth, with an effect that lasts about a month.
Whitening Plus
Duration 45’/60′
The treatment is carried out in the same way as FAST, but involves the prolonged application of gels with a higher concentration of peroxide. The results are immediate and, with proper oral hygiene, can last up to two years.
Home bleaching
Variable duration
The treatment involves the application, for several consecutive evenings, of a mask (made by taking impressions with a digital scanner) filled with whitening gel. It can replace the LED chairside session or, in combination, prolong its duration.
